Nathan Wiffen Bio

Nathan Wiffen was originally a backstroke and fly specialist. Nathan is now a distance freestyle swimmer, competing at World and European level competitions.  He has progressed to finals at  World Championships and multiple European competitions and also has multiple Irish National Titles in freestyle and also backstroke.
Nathan is ranked number 2 in Ireland for distance freestyle (800 and 1500m) and 34th Worldwide for the 800 Freestyle and 22nd worldwide in the 1500 Freestyle.
Nathan trains at Loughborough University where he studies computer science and is a member of the Irish National Squad.
Nathan completed the 2024 season in 4th place at the European championships, Serbia. and 8th place at the World Championships in Budapest. He was also Daniel's training partner for Paris 2024.
